The Ol’ Yeller was specifically created with Jesse’s sound in mind. 43 awg poly wire in the bridge, 43 awg plain enamel for the neck and both pickups receive Alnico 5 magnets to deliver an optimum tonal balance. Fat and gritty, the bridge delivers tight lows and mids with sparkling highs. The neck, slightly overwound just like the bridge, has a thick midrange and smooth highs with rich harmonic overtones. With its beefy tone and low end growl, the Ol’ Yeller is capable of pushing your amp hard to deliver a fully saturated overdrive while cleaning up well when rolling off the volume. Heavy gauge steel baseplate and vintage cloth push back lead wires. Neck pickup is RW​/​RP for hum cancelling in middle position.
