This is a prototype of a guitar I've been playing with and tweaking for over a year. Being that this is numero uno, it has some small quirks, especially on the back plate that will become more refined as these are produced more often. It plays exactly as you'd expect any esquire type guitar to play. The top is baltic birch plywood, which gives a surprisingly resonant sound when the guitar is unplugged in the room. I would give say it's in the range of a Casino. Great for shopping tunes when volume is rolled down in a rehearsal setting. The knobs are large and in charge, giving obvious hand cues as to where they lie on the body. The back is made from a single sheet of folded Aluminum, and is kept in its raw state for now. In the future I may have them anodized or powdercoated any color to the liking of the buyer. This is then bolted to the body for rigidity, leaving a nearly totally open cavity throughout, leading to a light, resonant, warm and plucky esquire sound. It's a plug and play rock and roll monster, and it's begging you to give it a shot. Buy number 1, and keep composite guitars punk.
