Bridge Builder Hornet, Movingi Top/back

Drawing inspiration from the legendary offset guitars of the past (the Fender Jaguar and Jazzmaster, and vintage Tiesco guitars to name a few), this Bridge Builder Guitars Hornet seeks to take the offset guitar into the world of 21st century exquisite custom guitars. Oh, and it's made by Neurotic Guitar Dorks in Ohio. This 6-string guitar features a flamed Movingi top and back with hand rubbed satin finish. The body core is bubinga with accent veneers on both the front and back of maple and purpleheart. The 11-piece Wenge, Movingi, and maple neck has a 25.5” scale, sports a Brazilian Kingwood fretboard with Jescar Stainless steel fret. The back of the neck is finished with our Bridge Builder Super Silk neck treatment (there is no better feeling neck finish in existence!). It's easy to see where your fingers need to be on a dark stage with our reflective and glow-in-the-dark Bridge Builder Bright-Glo side dots and Pale Moon Ebony block inlays on the fretboard face. The headstock face and back sport face caps cut from the same piece of Pale Moon as the top and back of the guitar, and maple and purpleheart accent pinstripes. The nut is made from Graphtech black Tusq that pairs well with the Graphtech saddles on the Schaller Hannes bridge. Seymour Duncan Pegasus (bridge) and Sentient (neck) humbuckers produce an incredibly wide range of tones thanks to a versatile custom wiring scheme utilizing series and parallel switching for each pickup that feeds a Switchraft switchboard-style output jack designed to survive 100,000 in/out cycles. This guitar sounds as good as it looks, and with flawlessly executed fretwork and impossibly low action it plays even better.
