Petulance is a silicon transistor-based cascaded gain stage overdrive capable of boost, drive, distortion, and fuzz tones. Originally conceived by chaining the amplifier sections of a RadioShack mic mixer, this 'superoverdrive' effect is now a formal pedal release. Featuring distortion-by-saturation, optional hard-clipping, and a selectable number of gain stages, this is a one-stop shop for a wide variety of dirt! CONTROLS: GAIN - input gain​​/​​drive TONE - rolls off high frequencies ANGER - select 2, 3, or 4(vertical) gain stages LEVEL - output volume Tone Switch - lowers cutoff by ＞ 1 octave CLIPPING SWITCH - top=1n34a pair​​/​​mid=no clip​​/​​low=1n4148+1n4007 Petulance Specs: runs on standard 9v DC power, TWO red LED indicators, true bypass light-force black footswitch, and these come in a 1590BB2 enclosure featuring top-load 1​​/​​4" jacks. No batteries, though this design retains radioshack's original power circuitry, and so they can be used externally if you wish.
