Bridge Builder Static-Y V-style guitar, Mango top/back
Drawing inspiration from the legendary space-age angular guitars of the past (the Gibson V, and Moderne) and other more modern V shaped guitars (Jackson King V, Hamer Vector) this Bridge Builder Guitars Static-Y seeks to take the V-shaped guitar into the world of 21st century exquisite custom guitars. Oh, and it's made by Neurotic Guitar Dorks in Ohio. This 6-string guitar features a figured Mango top and back with a hand rubbed satin polyurethane finish. The body core is honduran mahogany with maple accent veneers on both the front and back. The 3-piece quartersawn maple neck has a 25.5” scale, sports a Birdseye maple fretboard with Jescar Evo frets, and is finished with our Bridge Builder Super Silk neck treatment (there is no better feeling neck finish in existence!). It's easy to see where your fingers need to be on a dark stage with our reflective and glow-in-the-dark Bridge Builder Bright-Glo side dots and matching glow-in-the-dark face dots ringed with gold. The headstock sports a front veneer cut from the same piece of figured mango as the top and back of the guitar. The nut is made from Graphtech black Tusq that pairs well with the Graphtech saddles on the Schaller Hannes bridge. The Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz humbuckers feed a wiring harness made with Riboloff volume and tone pots that send the signal to Switchraft switchboard-style output jack designed to survive 10,000 in/out cycles. This guitar sounds as good as it looks, and with flawlessly executed fretwork and impossibly low action it plays even better. All this, and the guitar weighs in at a paltry 6 lbs. 8 oz The specs: Model: Static Y Weight: 6 lbs 8oz.
